Australia's first social purpose app development initiative for young people

Created by the Foundation for Young Australians, Samsung Adappt is a bootcamp for eight teams of outstanding young entrepreneurs, each with their own big idea for an app that could change the world for the better.

I was the mentor working with a team from Shout Out: Youth Mental Health to assist them in developing a wellness app called In The Zone with the intent of introducing mindfulness to young Australians.

The 3-day intensive bootcamp involved assisting them in refining their concept, sketching user flows and wireframes, testing usability and finally, building a prototype to present to the judging panel. In the Zone was one of the winning teams who then received $10,000 from Samsung to develop their idea further.
