A smart remote monitoring solution for collectors of waste and recycling

SmartBin started as a startup within the research and development labs of a major Australian company, they had developed a network of sensors that could remotely monitor the waste level of rubbish bins.

I was the design lead tasked with creating a fully responsive dashboard for collectors and distributors running and monitoring the network.

Data visualisation was created for such information as waste volumes, fuel usage, CO2 Emissions, Savings, truck activity, user tasks, building waste levels (down to individual bins), and sensor maintenance. Consideration also had to be made for users with different positions within the company requiring different information surfaced to them.
